II was born and raised in Toronto, Canada with a Trinidadian background. I was always found to be doing one of two things- reading, and playing sports. Outside of these things, being a Canadian Trinidadian, I was exposed to as much Trinidadian culture as one could possible absorb. With that being said; Carnival was NEVER missed. I have been participating in carnival festivities since the age of 2.

I was born in Malvern and raised in Whitby, Canada with a Jamaican background. I was brought up in the Church where tambourines and High heels were the goal as a youth. Looking up to my mother’s style, I’ve always tried to mimic her. Her clothes, her hair doos, and of course, her makeup.

Drawn to the love of exaggerated and unique makeup for carnival masqueraders; POP was created and officially began in 2014 by Nadine Loken and Tiffany Jiminez just in time for Toronto Caribana.
